ムシロ瀬（むしろぜ）は、徳之島北端の海岸線に続く花崗岩の岩棚です。隆起したサンゴ礁や石灰岩が多い徳之島には珍しい場所です。岩棚の巨岩が、ムシロ（藁やイグサを編んだ敷物）を敷きつめたように連なっているというのがその名の由来です。
