精矛神社（くわしほこ）は戦国武将、島津義弘公を祀る神社です。大正7年、義弘公の三百年祭にあたり、当地に造営遷座されました。春には満開の桜が参道から境内まで咲き誇ります。大河ドラマのロケ地にもなり、現在も義弘公が戦った関ヶ原・朝鮮泗川の役 敵味方供養祭が行われています。
