樹齢300年のソテツの群生地にできたトンネル状のアーチです。集落の暴風等の対策で植えられたソテツの枝が交差して、自然にアーチを作り上げました。200m以上続くソテツトンネルを抜けた先には「金見崎展望所」があります。
トンネルは車椅子でも行くことができますが、トンネル出口が階段です。展望所には車で行くことができ、バリアフリートイレもあります。
