標高270ｍの陣岳の高台にあり、さまざまな国々の緑の中を散策しながら、志布志の市街地と太平洋の大海原を見渡せます。
遊歩道や四阿が設けられているほか、頂上部には過去に日本一を誇った巨大な地球儀も設置されています。
毎年、初日の出を見るために多くの人が集まります。
